Landon Bland is going to be a Cowboy.

The 2026 three-star edge from Carthage, MO committed to Oklahoma State Friday afternoon, choosing the Cowboys over Iowa StateKansas StateMissouri and Nebraska. He holds offers from 12 schools.

Bland, who plays both defensive end and tight end for Carthage, took an unofficial visit to Stillwater this past weekend and had a great experience connecting with Oklahoma State defensive line coach Ryan Osborn. He earned visits from head coach Mike Gundy and recruiting director Todd Bradford earlier this year as the Cowboys were in early on the 6-foot-4 defender.

Bland has an official visit scheduled to Oklahoma State on April 25.

He becomes the third commit in the 2026 recruiting class, joining fellow defensive end Jaylen Stewart and offensive lineman Aiden Martin. With Bland’s commitment, Oklahoma State now has the No. 10 recruiting class in the Big 12.
