Three Michigan football players listed with Heisman Trophy odds for 2025
FanDuel released odds for the 2025 Heisman Memorial Trophy, presented annually to the most outstanding player in college football, and three Michigan Wolverines were listed.
Last season, Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter won the award, after quarterbacks had taken home the hardware in seven of the previous eight seasons. It has been primarily a quarterback award, and two Wolverine signal-callers showed up on the list of players with odds: graduate Mikey Keene and freshman Bryce Underwood. QB Bryce Underwood: +6000
Underwood — the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation — is the crown jewel of Michigan’s incoming freshman class, and he’s an early enrollee currently taking part in winter workouts.
Him being listed ahead of Keene (+10000) doesn’t mean he has a better chance of winning the starting job — though he will have his shot — but it does indicate that Las Vegas oddsmakers believe that if he does earn the role, he has the upside to shine and turn into one of the best players in the country.
At the same time, making it to New York, let alone winning the Heisman, is extremely difficult. In fact, no true freshman has ever won the award. So betting on Underwood is betting on history happening. He has the top odds on FanDuel among incoming freshmen.
