Sharks star Ronaldo Mulitalo has been placed on the Broncos radar by his own club, with Cronulla reportedly shopping the winger.
Mulitalo became a free agent for next year on November 1 and has yet to re-sign with the Sharks or has he been linked with any other club until now.
According to Code Sports, even though Mulitalo is expected to re-sign with the Sharks, this recent development indicates the winger is keen to test the waters before making any decisions about his future.
The Broncos development is surprising given the club has two stud outside backs in Selwyn Cobbo and Kotoni Staggs that they’ve yet to re-sign.
Like Mulitalo, Cobbo and Staggs are also in the final year of their deals.
The Broncos have also signed Storm winger Grant Anderson for 2026 on a multi-year deal.
Mulitalo is an international winger who knows where the tryline is, having scored 56 from 70 NRL games.
He’d be a huge loss for Cronulla and a tidy acquisition for any club who picks him up if the Sharks don’t lock him down.
