Actor’s Side Denies Reports of 3 Billion KRW Lawsuit Filed by Firms

Amid growing speculation, the legal team representing a prominent South Korean actor has firmly denied reports claiming that multiple firms have filed lawsuits demanding a combined penalty of 3 billion KRW. The reports, which began circulating online earlier this week, allege that the actor breached commercial agreements, triggering a wave of legal actions from affected companies.

According to these reports, several endorsement and media firms had joined forces to seek compensation for what they described as contractual violations, including missed promotional appearances and reputational damage. However, the actor’s agency has dismissed the claims as “completely unfounded” and accused the sources of spreading misinformation with the intent to harm the actor’s reputation.

In an official statement, the agency clarified that no formal lawsuits have been received and labeled the circulating figures as “exaggerated and speculative.” The statement also warned of legal action against individuals or entities responsible for disseminating false information, suggesting that defamation charges are being considered.

Fans of the actor have rallied online in support, urging media outlets to verify facts before publishing potentially damaging claims. Hashtags defending the star began trending across social media platforms, with many followers demanding accountability from gossip sites fueling the controversy.

While the situation remains tense, industry observers believe the actor’s clear denial and swift response may help contain any fallout. As of now, no legal documents or formal court filings have been made public to substantiate the 3 billion KRW penalty claims.
