SHOCKING: Lane Kiffin gives message to Ole Miss players after sad loss at LSU

Lane Kiffin shares message to Ole Miss players after heartbreaking loss at LSU

Ole Miss lost to LSU in overtime Saturday night after leading for the majority of the game and allowing the Tigers to score a last-minute touchdown to tie the game in regulation.

The loss dropped Lane Kiffin’s Rebels to 5-2 (1-2) on the season, which is not good news for the team’s playoff chances.

Kiffin felt the same level of disappointment and frustration as his team last night, and he shared this message with them after the game:

“This sucks, guys. I feel for you, and you have a bye, so you won’t get to play again. “I don’t have a lot of good news for you,” Kiffin said in his postgame press conference. “It’s easier to lose by a few points, but this was our game for half of the game, and we let it slip away. These are hard. “This one will be around forever.”

The remainder of Ole Miss’ schedule offers opportunities for the program to pick up significant wins and remain in the playoff picture. The Rebels visit Arkansas and welcome Georgia to Oxford, both of which could be ranked matchups depending on how the next few weeks play out.

First, Ole Miss has its first bye week of the season before hosting Oklahoma on October 26.
