Glenn Hughes, the former bassist and singer of Deep Purple, known to millions as the “Voice of Rock,” a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and the current frontman for rock supergroup Black Country Communion, is excited to announce that he will be performing hit songs from his fascinating career, which he has written with some of the most influential bands and musicians in rock history.
The show promises to be a dynamic, turn-back-the-clocks, two-hour live extravaganza homage to his illustrious career spanning five decades in music, featuring songs from Trapeze, Deep Purple, Hughes/Thrall, Iommi/Hughes, and Black Country Communion, some of music history’s most seminal and influential rock and roll groups. In addition, the event will contain brand new music from Glenn’s next solo album, which will be released in the summer of 2025.
The touring band includes Glenn on lead vocals and bass guitar, Soren Anderson on guitar, and Ash Sheehan on drums.
Glenn notes, “I’m excited to share my new solo songs with you and bring back some favourites to my setlist. Something great is unfolding in 2025, and the best is yet to come. “See you in Europe in September.”
