Tom Holland and Zendaya enjoyed a night on the town together in Boston.
Holland, 28, took to his Instagram Story on Sunday, November 24, to share several videos and photos of himself drinking beer inside Foxhole in the Massachusetts capital with Zendaya, also 28.
Hitting the dimly lit neighborhood bar to sample his nonalcoholic beer, Bero, the Marvel star started by setting the scene for his social media fans. “Hey, what’s up guys? Exciting stuff, I’m heading out to a bar to go and have my first Bero in the wild,” Holland said as he filmed himself walking down a street.
At the end of the short clip, Zendaya poked her head into the frame from behind Holland, giving a quiet squeal of her own.
A second video, seemingly filmed by Zendaya, then captured Holland sipping from a pint as Zendaya was heard telling him he was being recorded. The actress then said, “Ooh,” before her delighted partner told the camera, “First one in the wild, baby!”
Photos within the Instagram series also showed Zendaya giving a thumbs up as she smiled behind a pint of her own beer, in addition to a close-up of the beer, which Holland launched in October, and a logo of the Boston bar the pair visited.
Holland detailed his struggles with alcohol in the past, speaking out in July 2023 about his sobriety of more than one year. The actor shared during the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast that his journey to sobriety did not come easy.
“All I could think about was having a drink. That’s all I could think about. I was waking up thinking about it. I was checking the clock, when’s it 12 p.m.?” Holland said at the time.
Zendaya and Holland met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Their close friendship sparked romance rumors for years, but it wasn’t until the pair were photographed kissing in Los Angeles in July 2021 that their relationship was confirmed.
Holland said during an interview with GQ that appeared in the November 2021 issue that the pair didn’t intend to reveal their relationship through the photographed PDA.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world. … We sort of felt robbed of our privacy,” he told the outlet at the time.
In July, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the pair are extremely happy together. “These two are the real deal,” the insider said at the time. “They started as besties, and that’s [why] their relationship is rock solid.”
The source added that both Zendaya and Holland’s families “are all in” on their relationship, adding that both families think “they’re perfect together.”
The couple are set to star in an upcoming Christopher Nolan film together, with Deadline claiming on November 8 that Anne Hathaway and Zendaya will join Holland and Matt Damon in the 2026 project.
