Larry Sellers, well known for his role as Cloud Dancing in the CBS western Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, died on December 9 at the age of 72. The cause of his death has yet to be revealed. His wife, Susie Duff, outlived him.
Sellers was born on October 2, 1949, and is of Osage, Cherokee, and Lakota ancestry. The actor was nominated for an Emmy for his role in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and also acted as the show’s Native American Consultant. He also appeared in Wayne’s World 2 as the “Naked Indian” spirit. Sellers’ other acting credits include The Sopranos, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Jane Seymour, his Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman co-star, paid tribute to his death on Instagram. Seymour posted a selfie of herself with Sellers and their co-star Joe Lando on the Dr. Quinn set.
