BREAKING: Michigan, Sherrone Moore Get Expert Prediction to Land Intriguing 2026 QB

Sherrone Moore and the Michigan Wolverines are working hard to get back into national championship contention.

After a rollercoaster 2024 season that saw the team end the year with an 8-5 record and a 5-4 Big Ten record, the program is looking to be on the right track.

Looking ahead to the 2025 campaign, Michigan will have a much-improved quarterback situation. The Wolverines will have Bryce Underwood on the team, along with Mikey Keene. That upgrade alone will be a major plus.

Michigan also scored some big wins in the 2025 recruiting class. Underwood was at the top of the Wolverines’ 2025 class, but they also landed five-star offensive lineman Andrew Babalola, four-star cornerback Shamar Earls, four-star safety Jordan Young, and more talented young players.

Now, as of Saturday morning, Michigan has picked up a prediction to land an intriguing quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class.

Michigan Wolverines Football Head Coach Sherrone Moore

Steve Wiltfong, a college football recruiting expert for On3 Sports, has made a new prediction for the 2026 recruiting class. He has three-star quarterback Nathan Bernhard landing with the Wolverines.

Hailing from Ashland, Ohio, Bernhard is a 6-foot-5 and 220 quarterback prospect. He is currently a three-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 31 quarterback in the class and the No. 541 overall player in the nation.

Other teams who have made offers to Bernhard include the Penn State Nittany Lions, Michigan State Spartans, Louisville Cardinals, and Iowa State Cyclones.

As Michigan looks to piece together long-term success, continuing to have elite quarterback play will be a must. Landing Bernhard will help them keep quality depth at the position and he has starting potential down the road as well.
