Arizona Cardinals 7-Round NFL Mock Draft: Kyle Murray gets another dynamic weapon, and the trenches get a makeover

The 2025 NFL season is going to be a big one for the Arizona Cardinals and head coach Jonathan Gannon. We have seen some positive signs during his first two seasons, but more progress is needed in year three. The team has a solid core of younger players, and will be looking to continue adding more.

The 2025 NFL Draft is a tremendous opportunity for this team to hopefully get over the hump. With holes on the defense, the offensive line, and continuing to put talent around quarterback Kyler Murray, the team struck gold in this latest mock draft. It was an impressive overall haul despite a lack of selections.

Round 1, Pick 16: Derrick Harmon, DT Oregon
The Cardinals need to find more difference on the defensive side of the football. Harmon was previously a member of Michigan State, but became a completely different player for the Ducks in 2024. He lost some weight, and Oregon took advantage of his versatility, and playmaking potential.

Round 2, Pick 47: Donovan Jackson, OG Ohio State
Some teams view Jackson as an offensive guard, while others also project him to play offensive tackle. He has a unique blend of length, movement skills, and hand strength. Regardless of where he ends up positionally, Jackson is the type of player that makes an offensive line better instantly.

Round 3, Pick 78: Jalen Royals, WR Utah State
Royals is a very strong receiver who excels at tracking the football down the field. He also brings underrated YAC upside at 210 pounds. There aren’t better inside-out pass catchers in the entire 2025 class.

Round 4, Pick 115: David Walker, EDGE Central Arkansas
He is an outlier of sorts, but Walker is a tremendous pass rusher who is as tactical as they come. Walker plays with natural leverage, an impressive first step, and a deep arsenal of pass rush moves. He should, at worst, become a very strong situational pass rusher.

Round 5, Pick 152: Chase Lundt, OT UConn
If not for an injury that didn’t allow Lundt to play in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl or NFL Scouting Combine, we would be talking about him a lot more. There is a chance that Lundt ends up going way higher, but where his stock is right now remains a question. Lundt is an impressive athlete with a lot of upside.

Round 7, Pick 225: Bilhal Kone, CB Western Michigan
It is a very deep and talented cornerback group in the 2025 class. Kone is one of the more interesting players, possessing a really nice frame, and long speed. His technique does need a lot of work, but there is a ton of developmental upside to work with.
