After two decades in European football, the 39-year-old is now at Al-Nassr. From 2009 until 2018, the Portuguese played nine seasons at Santiago Bernabeu, where he became one of the greatest players in history.

Although Ronaldo has been away from Real Madrid for over five years, it is clear that the club holds a special place in his heart. Ronaldo commemorated the club’s 122nd “birthday” by posting a photo of himself with Los Blancos, his fifth Champions League title. “Congratulations on 122 years of history, Madridista family! He wrote “Hala Madrid” on X.

Throughout their 122-year history, the Spanish club has been one of, if not the most, successful. They have won the Spanish league a record 35 times and have 14 Champions League titles, six more than their closest challengers.

For Real Madrid, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored an incredible 450 goals in only 438 appearances in all competitions, winning multiple major trophies. They include four UEFA Champions League and two La Liga championships.

On Thursday, the Portuguese face Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League. On Monday, Al-Nassr will play the second leg of their AFC Champions League quarterfinal against Al-Ain.
