The Boosh is loose.

Maple Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin participated in the morning skate on Monday, indicating that he will be in the lineup when the Leafs meet the Boston Bruins at Scotiabank Arena.

Lyubushkin was paired alongside Morgan Rielly, as he was before being injured on Saturday against the New York Rangers.

Lyubushkin’s condition did not appear good after being knocked out of the Leafs’ win by Rangers rookie Matt Rempe.

Lyubushkin was driven against the corner boards, and Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe stated after the game that Lyubushkin, who did not play in the third period, sustained a head injury. Rempe received no penalty on the play.

It was Lyubushkin’s first game with the Leafs since being acquired from the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

Leafs general manager Brad Treliving will continue to look for another defenceman before the National Hockey League trade deadline on Friday at 3 p.m.
