Dominik Szoboszlai could be out for the next four weeks due to injury.
According to a recent rumor from Hungarian site Index (via Liverpool Echo), the Liverpool midfielder could miss up to a month due to injuries.
Szoboszlai, 23, was missing from Liverpool’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal over the weekend.
According to Index, the 23-year-old is “struggling with an injury similar to the one he had in January,” referring to a problem with his hamstring.
The injury’s recurrence couldn’t have happened at a worse moment for Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool will be anxious to win again after losing momentum in the title race to Mikel Arteta’s chasing Gunners; nevertheless, losing Szoboszlai, probably their most creative player, is a significant blow.
If the former RB Leipzig playmaker is out for four weeks, he will miss the following games:
(Premier League) Burnley – February 10 (Premier League). Brentford – February 17 (Premier League). Luton Town, February 21 (Carabao Cup Final). Chelsea – February 25 (FA Cup Fourth Round) Watford against Southampton – February 28 (Premier League) Nottingham Forest’s first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 is scheduled for March 7.
