Report: On the 49ers’ need for defensive adjustments, Bosa and Shanahan disagree.

 

In the aftermath of their 24-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa stated he thinks the team needs to be able to make more rapid changes. Ultimately, James Conner, the Arizona running back, only picked up nine yards on six rushes throughout the first half. Conner ran for 77 yards on 13 carries in the second half. Bosa stated, “They were giving us a fresh look on the zone read.” “I think we’ve been really well-prepared for all of our losses. However, teams are playing us and playing tactics differently, so we need to make a few slight adjustments.
