WR Allen Lazard of the Jets Sends a Message to the Media Before the Vikings Game
Allen Lazard, a wide receiver with the New York Jets, was a little irritated at his media appearance this week. After the first four games of the 2024 season, he was questioned about whether the offense had established its identity. We are solving the problem. As I already stated, we are not yet at our best. I believe that we discover who we really are when we realize our greatest potential. It’s a lengthy season and a work in progress. There are just four games left. You guys have the ability to paint it, distort people’s remarks, magnify them beyond reality, and do it all. There is a lot more of a team dynamic here in the locker room and within this organization.
He was questioned regarding the “cadence thing,” which was brought up by the Denver Broncos game in Week 4 and its aftermath. Saleh asserted, “There isn’t a cadence problem; there never was one; that was fabricated.” According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, Saleh “probably meant by the media” when he made the “manufactured” comment.Saleh suggested that maybe his team wasn’t “talented enough or enough to handle all the cadence” just after the Broncos game. Aaron Rodgers responded to that by saying that perhaps holding players accountable would be a better answer than simply limiting one of his best abilities.
