The Alabama Crimson Tide ousted head coach of the Washington Huskies. They seem to have also lost their quarterback of the future at this point. Recently, Austin Mack declared his intention to move to the University of Alabama.

Mack posted on his personal X account that he was moving from Washington to Alabama.

Mack did not play this past season, therefore he will still be eligible for all four years. There’s no denying that Michael Penix Jr. had no trouble leading the Huskies to the National Championship Game. However, things did not go well for UW. In the championship game, the Michigan Wolverines easily defeated them, capping a perfect 15-0 campaign.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer moved to Tuscaloosa from Seattle after that. There were then a tonne of departures and transfers. It has put Jedd Fisch, the new head coach, in a whole different predicament. For as long he stays, Fisch will have his hands full.

Alabama is likewise catching up with the times. Not everyone is in favor of continuing without the renowned Nick Saban. The renowned Alabama coach shocked everyone worldwide when he announced his retirement earlier this month. The dichotomies surrounding college football may be about to undergo a dramatic shift. However, WE won’t find out for some time.

What is certain is that DeBoer will eventually have the man he selected to spearhead the effort in Washington. Mack will be interesting to watch in the future even if it’s unlikely that he will play in front of Jalen Milroe the following season.
