The New Orleans Saints are moving closer to selecting their next head coach. According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, the team will conduct second interviews with two candidates this week.
Mike Kafka: The New York Giants offensive coordinator will have his second interview with the Saints on Tuesday.
Anthony Weaver: The Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator will reportedly have his second interview on Wednesday.
Both Kafka and Weaver are first-time head coaching candidates. Kafka has spent the last three years with the Giants, while Weaver has been with the Dolphins since 2019.
The Saints have already conducted initial interviews with Joe Brady and Aaron Glenn. It is unclear if either of those candidates will receive a second interview.
