Jets Have Further Issue With C.J. see all information in

Early in the 2024 season, C.J. Mosley has missed the last six quarters of football for the New York Jets. The Jets’ success without Mosley, despite his continued great leadership and intelligence, indicates that both New York and Mosley are going through a transition. Since the former Raven’s injury to his toe, backup linebacker Jamien Sherwood has assumed the starting job and appears to be running with it. Even though Mosley might return as early as next week, and even though he will be starting,

“We’re optimistic that he will return for the Denver game,” stated Jets head coach Robert Saleh. “Again, we’ll see how he feels on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday when we return. However, I believe that if this had happened later in the year, he would have been able to play if he had summoned the necessary energy. Still, it wasn’t worth it to exacerbate such a minor injury. In the big picture, it was probably not worthwhile.

With Mosley back in the lineup, the Jets are in a catch-22 situation. However, it appears that Sherwood will revert to his special teams and third-linebacker roles, which don’t truly utilize his skills to their full potential. All Rights Reserved.
