World No. 2 Alexander Zverev will miss the tournament in Beijing due to a serious illness

German tennis player Alexander Zverev, who is currently ranked second in the ATP ranking, will miss the prestigious tournament in Beijing (China). As the tennis player himself told the German press, he has been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Details: Zverev felt sick as early as last week during the Rod Laver Cup. As the tournament progressed, the athlete complained to the media that he had been feeling feverish for four days, ZDF reported. However, he refused to disclose details stating that his team is opposed.

Recall: this is not the first health problems of the 27-year-old Zverev. Earlier, the German complained of high pulse during the Olympics in Paris, high temperature during the Australian Open, as well as dizziness and high pulse during the Olympics in Paris. In France, Alexander even said he saw four balls at the same time.
