Following a bye week, Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama Crimson Tide will face their greatest test yet in the 2024 season when Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs visit Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday. It’s a top-five game that everyone in college football has highlighted on their calendar. ESPN’s “College GameDay” will arrive in town, setting the stage for what could be the biggest regular-season game of the year. But which team has the advantage where it counts the most?

Ben Flanagan, the presenter of the “Beat Everyone” podcast, is joined by former Alabama All-American and national champion offensive lineman Mike Johnson to take us inside the trenches, where games are truly won and lost. Johnson previews the Tide’s upcoming game against Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium, then relates stories about playing for Nick Saban, blocking for Heisman winner Mark Ingram, and stunning the Bulldogs in the notorious Blackout game of 2008.

Later, “Beat Everyone” producer Matt Scalici joins Ben for a blind ranking of Saban-era quarterbacks and wide receivers.
