New York Jets sign a multi billion dollar contract with Philadelphia Eagles

This season, things simply haven’t worked out. Haason Reddick was dealt to the New York Jets, although he hasn’t yet reported. While the Philadelphia Eagles have struggled with Bryce Huff. Pro Football Network and Athlon Sports reporter Nick Faria of the Jets suggested that the two clubs just trade pass rushers on a one-for-one basis.

Faria joined me on “The Manchild Show with Boy Green”, my radio program, and explained why this transaction might make a lot of sense in even more depth. On social media, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic echoed that view, writing, “Eagles fans don’t seem to want Bryce Huff.” Not that Haason Reddick wants the Jets. I’ve got a thought. Ever since he signed his big-money contract, Huff has struggled. This offseason, the former Memphis product created NFL history. At the time he inked his $51.1 million, three-year contract, $34 million of which was guaranteed. That was the biggest contract ever offered to a previously undrafted free agent who wasn’t a quarterback. Huge expectations accompany a financial commitment of that magnitude. During the first two contests

That is a jarring number. The highest missed tackle rate he has ever had in his career was in 2023 with 12.1%, now it has jumped up exponentially.
