There’s little doubt that the New York Knicks are a tight-knit club, and it all starts with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. They played on the same college team and won a national championship with Villanova in 2016, and now they’re back together with the Knicks.
Both players recently appeared on the Late Show with Seth Meyers, and Meyers asked Hart how he teases Brunson.
“The size of his head,” Hart explained. “That is the first one.” “It’s funny because your son had the bobblehead,” Hart told Meyers.

“I explained that I had brought my son to the game and it was Brunson bobblehead day,” Meyers told ESPN. “So he received a Jalen Brunson bobblehead. And even before you went for 40, he was really interested in your accomplishment. And so every time you scored, he yelled, ‘Bobblehead Brunson,’ and I apologize for telling Josh about it.”
“You know it’s insane. Normally, bobbleheads have somewhat larger heads, but this is the first time they’ve made it the same size as the head, therefore whoever made it murdered it. “They crushed it,” Hart stated.
The Knicks continue to build chemistry in offseason
Aside from Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, several New York Knicks players have tight relationships. Donte DiVincenzo also played at Villanova, as did Mikal Bridges, who was dealt to the Knicks from the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason.
They have a wonderful chemistry outside of the court, but it can also work on the court. The Knicks have the potential to be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, but first they must beat the Boston Celtics. If they can maintain their chemistry, they may be able to knock them off.
