Regarding Haason Reddick, Jets HC Robert Saleh makes a significant disclosure.

Now that star offensive tackle Trent Williams of the San Francisco 49ers has ended his holdout, the only player remaining to avoid his club is pass rusher Haason Reddick of the New York Jets, who is holding out for a trade or contract extension.

It has been well over a month since Robert Saleh, the head coach of the Jets, spoke with quarterback Josh Reddick, revealing to reporters on Tuesday just how bad things have gone with the new addition.

Early in August, the two-time Pro Bowl player’s cumulative penalty exceeded $1 million, and the amount of money forfeited has only increased since then.

The penalty will keep going up if Reddick misses Gang Green’s opening “Monday Night Football” game against the 49ers to kick off the regular season.

Even though the linebacker’s future with New York looks uncertain at best—before it has even begun—Saleh has made a concerted effort to remain composed throughout the ordeal.

Saleh stated on Tuesday that Reddick will be welcomed with open arms if he reports to the team—at least for the second time.

Robert Saleh on Haason Reddick’s absence: “There’s no disappointment. You’ve got your roster. You’ve got the guys who are here and those are the guys you focus on. Hopefully he eventually does get here. When he does, we’ll embrace him.” #jets
