F1 Grand Prix of Italy

In genuine footage filmed by an Italian Grand Prix marshal, Lewis Hamilton signs a cap before shaking hands with a volunteer. The Tifosi greeted the Brit enthusiastically as he prepares to join Ferrari next season.

Hamilton managed to brighten one fan’s day ahead of the race on Sunday. During the annual driver’s procession, a marshal wearing an LH44-branded Mercedes cap noticed the seven-time world champion alone in front of the mobile platform.

After sprinting to meet up with the vehicle, Hamilton hurriedly set down his video camera to sign the cap for the marshal, who raced alongside the parade lorry while chanting “Still we rise, still we rise” to the Mercedes driver.
The Brit was caught aback by the fan’s enthusiasm and exchanged a handshake after returning the cap. He then gave the supporter a thumbs up and tapped his chest a few times to show his appreciation.

Hamilton will need to get acclimated to the hero’s welcome in Italy before joining Ferrari in 2025. The Tifosi compete with Max Verstappen’s Orange Army for the most passionate F1 fans, and the atmosphere at Monza is one of the most heated and passionate of the season, alongside Silverstone, Zandvoort, and Interlagos.
Hamilton commented on his welcome at Monza this year, saying, “I’m not going to lie, it definitely seems a little different. I mean, it always feels special to come here.

“We’re arriving at a good moment since the weather is fantastic today and, of course, the track has undergone significant improvements. But, as Charles [Leclerc] pointed out, there is always enormous passion in Italy, not just in general, but especially in racing.
