On the same night that Caitlin Clark broke the rookie record for the most three-pointers made in a WNBA season, Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas also shattered records.

When the Olympians, a sprinter and a gymnast, appeared on the Jumbotron during the Indiana Fever game against the Connecticut Sun on August 28, the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse went completely crazy. Biles and Thomas were reportedly attending their first WNBA game—and they made a great choice, based on several social media posts. Clark not only broke a significant WNBA record, but the Fever also won after an extremely close game.

The Fever were even more thrilled to meet Biles and Thomas following the game, despite their obvious excitement at their victory. When Clark saw the Olympians waiting for them outside the tunnel, she appeared shocked, and her response only became more positive. “Text me, please text me!” After posing for her picture, Boston yelled to the photographer, and Smith was so happy that she virtually skipped away.

Biles said to the camera, “It was so exciting.” “Normally, the boys would just walk by and say, ‘Yo,’ but they were really excited, which was awesome.”

Naturally, the interaction thrilled Fever supporters just as much as their beloved players. On X.com, a person commented, “WHEN OUR FEVER GIRLS TURN INTO FANGIRLS THIS IS SO PRECIOUS,” while on TikTok, a user wrote, “look at all that GOATs ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
