Exclusive: Fabrizio Romano Confirms Leeds United s Here We Go for Ex-Man Utd Ace

Leeds are set to sign Almeria forward Largie Ramazani

Leeds United are ready to sign Belgian attacker Largie Ramazani on a permanent basis, despite competition for his services, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 23-year-old, who can play as a winger on either flank or as a centre forward, scored four goals in 31 games for a struggling Almeria team that was relegated from LaLiga last season.

Ramazani’s contract with the Spanish club is scheduled to expire in less than a year, forcing them into a reluctant sale.

The forward is a Manchester United youth graduate, and as TEAMtalk exclusively revealed earlier this month, Everton are also interested in him.

The Toffees contacted Almeria to learn about the terms of a potential deal, but ultimately decided against making an offer.

Ramazani is eager to try himself in English football, and his wish appears to have been granted, with a move to Leeds being certain after the Yorkshire club agreed on a fee for him.

“Leeds United have agreed deal to sign Largie Ramazani from Almeria, here we go!”Romano posted on X.

“The total fee will be €11.7 million (£9.9 million) with add-ons, plus a 15% sell-on clause.” “Medical tests are scheduled.”

Leeds agree on new winger move.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has not been shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with the Whites’ transfer activity this summer, but he will be hoping that Ramazani can show himself at Elland Road.

Leeds have lost numerous players, notably Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Luis Sinisterra, and Archie Grey, making approximately £142 million in player sales.

However, due to FFP worries, they have been unable to reinvest the majority of it, adding only four new players, one of whom is on loan.

Ramazani appears to be Summerville’s replacement, and replacing the Dutchman’s shoes will be no easy assignment.

Summerville scored an impressive 20 goals in the Championship last season, and Farke will be hoping Ramazani can replicate that.

Leeds fans will want their team to contend for promotion despite losing some of its greatest players, which will not be an easy feat.

The Whites have only two points from their opening two Championship games and will look to achieve their first win against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.

Ramazani will be out for that game, but should be available for their next game against Hull City, assuming no last-minute changes.

His medical appointment is scheduled for Thursday, and he is anticipated to be confirmed as a new Leeds player later that day.

Standing at 5ft6, the former Red Devil isn’t known for his power, but he has the speed and technical skill to easily get past opposing defenders.

Ramazani is only anticipated to develop with experience, so he’ll be one to watch in the Championship this season.
