Talen Horton-Tucker is coming off a 51-game season with the Utah Jazz.
The former Iowa State star concluded the season with an average of 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, shooting 39.6% from the field and 33.0% from three.
This summer, Horton-Tucker became a free agent, able to join with any team in the league.
On August 12, he is still available.

Horton-Tucker is likely to sign a veteran’s minimum (or training camp) contract this late in free agency.
The 23-year-old spent the first three seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He was on the team that won the 2020 NBA Championship over the Miami Heat.

The Lakers boast a talented roster that includes LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and Austin Reaves.
However, they are coming off a season in which they were eliminated from the NBA playoffs in the first round by the Denver Nuggets.
They will need to make more moves before the 2025 postseason to compete for a championship.
