Quincy Olivari is coming off a successful college basketball season at Xavier.
He finished the season averaging 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 42.5% from the field and 40.9% from three in 34 games.
This summer, Olivari was not selected in the 2024 NBA Draft.
On Tuesday evening, Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation announced that the Los Angeles Lakers had officially signed Olivari to an Exhibit 10 contract.
According to Lane: “Lakers have signed guard Quincy Olivari to an Exhibit-10 contract, sources tell @LakersNation”

The 23-year-old has shown to be a highly consistent three-point shooter.
While he is unlikely to make the roster, Olivari could be an intriguing prospect for the South Bay Lakers (G League).
There is little doubt that he might be a candidate for a two-way (or 10-day) deal this season.

Olivari played five games for the Lakers during the NBA Summer League in California and Las Vegas.
The Lakers concluded the season as the Western Conference’s seventh seed, with a 47-35 record.
They defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament before falling to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).
Truly enjoyed this conversation with Lakers guard @quincyolivari. Keep an eye out for him! He told his story, shared his history with JJ Redick, where his game gets overlooked and his mindset as he makes the leap to the pros. Don’t miss it!https://t.co/ZYN9bWFFMF pic.twitter.com/ez7t1B28rC
