LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant as the GTA 5 guys

LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant recently guided Team USA to a gold medal victory at the 2024 Paris Olympics. But their partnership does not appear to be finished. One lucky buyer of Topps trading cards will receive an exceptionally uncommon card honoring the trio’s time together in Paris and carrying the signatures of the three future Basketball Hall of Famers.

“This card pays tribute to the incredible moment that we saw during the Olympics where three of the greatest active basketball players combined to take home the gold medal,” Topps senior vice president of product Clay Luraschi said, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

“This card is unique since it comes in both ordinary and autographed versions. There have been numerous autograph cards in basketball trading card history, but this is the first time all three players have signed the same card. As a result, it is quite unusual.”

A random consumer who purchases “the stars’ base card from the company” will have the remarkable luck of receiving the card, which is one-of-one.

Topps is offering a 1/1 Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant triple auto with the purchase of a Topps Now base card from today’s Team USA Gold Medal game.

The base card was already available for purchase last Saturday, the same day when LeBron James and his teammates defeated Le Bleus to win another gold medal for Team USA in the quadrennial event’s men’s basketball championship. Those who want a chance to obtain the autographed card can purchase the basic card for $11.99 until Tuesday at 6:20 p.m. ET.

Because of its rarity, the event it commemorates, and the autographs, the triple-auto card is projected to command a high price if it ever goes on sale.

“I think the card is easily six figures,” Ken Goldin, the founder and CEO of Goldin Auctions, told ESPN.

“However, the fact it is not a [pack] pulled card caps its value.”

LeBron James, Curry, and Durant may never play for the same Olympic team again, which would undoubtedly add to the triple-auto’s worth. Although the door remains open for the three legends to join the United States squad at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, it is likely that at least one of them will not be able to make Team USA again four years from now due to age.

By the time the next Olympics arrive, James, Curry, and Durant will be 43, 40, and 38, respectively.
