LSU football’s Brian Kelly makes Nick Saban joke about ‘old Alabama’ return
The LSU football team currently has a b after losing 38–23 against Texas A&M on Saturday.
the following weekend and get ready for the University of Alabama. Although Brian Kelly, the head coach of LSU football, has already discussed the schedule, he makes a brief mention of the Crimson Tide while making a joke about former head coach Nick Saban’s impending retirement.
The media questioned Kelly about Alabama going “back to its old self” when the two SEC heavyweights square battle on November 9. According to On3 Sports, the 63-year-old coach would make fun of Saban’s return to the sidelines while praising Kalen DeBoer and the current Crimson Tide coaching staff.
“How does that former self appear? Why has Nick Saban returned? Is Nick sitting out? He is everywhere. He is also present during GameDay. Were you aware of that? “Oh my God,” said Kelly. “What the old Alabama (is) is unknown to me. They have excellent staff. They have good coaching. We are aware that it will be extremely difficult, but that is the SEC every week. It will remain the same. I am not aware of any perception that our team cannot compete and play with anyone if they are giving it their all when it is needed.
Even if Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko may have given the LSU football team some advice, they still want to win, and a victory versus Alabama would be a decisive step in that direction. Kelly would remark that in order to recover from last weekend, they must play consistently strong football for the entire “four quarters,” which is what they anticipate happening.
