In addition to the watering hole itself, the large tent seen on Prime Video’s The Grand Tour is located on the grounds of Jeremy Clarkson’s pub in Asthall, near Burford, which he purchased for approximately £1,000,000 last year and opened to the public in August. Inside are a pop-up Diddly Squat Farm Shop, a butcher shop called Hops and Chops, and a section where Hawkstone alcohol can be purchased. Today, the Farmer’s Dog, a pub in Oxfordshire, has closed for necessary maintenance.
This week, it was announced that owing to necessary maintenance, the tent and bar would be closed for the entire day today, Wednesday, February 5.
“This coming Wednesday, February 5,” said a statement posted on the official Diddly Squat Farm Shop Instagram page on Tuesday.
“To facilitate necessary maintenance, the Grand Tour tent at The Farmer’s Dog will be closed for the day.
Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Hops & Chops, Baste cuisine, and the Hawkstone store are all located inside the tent.
Additionally, the Farmer’s Dog Pub will be shut down. Both will reopen on February 6th, Thursday.
Season four of Clarkson’s Farm, which was filmed in West Oxfordshire, is scheduled to premiere in the UK shortly, bringing Mr. Clarkson back to television.
Last year, the former host of Top Gear stated that the popular documentary on the daily life on Chadlington’s Diddly Squat Farm on Prime Video has been commissioned for a fifth season.
