Heartbreaking: Laura Tobin of Good Morning Britain Just made an unexpected Announcement

‘It’s not my fault,’ Laura Tobin of Good Morning Britain insists as her co-star admits

When Ed Balls recalled an event involving the clocks rolling back, weather presenter Laura Tobin swiftly defended herself on Good Morning Britain, saying, “It’s not my fault.”

Viewers saw Ed and his co-presenter Charlotte Hawkins navigate the day’s top stories on Monday’s (October 28) episode of the popular ITV breakfast show.

The discussion quickly shifted to the point at which British Summer Time ended on Sunday morning when the clocks returned to Greenwich Mean Time when Laura joined the pair to give her customary weather update.

“The clocks went back yesterday and what a glorious day,” Charlotte began. Ed acknowledged, rather bewildered, that his clock had not changed as a result, saying: “I was late, and it stated 7am in my room. According to the Mirror, “I was an hour late, but that’s okay.”

In response to Ed’s disclosure, Charlotte said empathetically, “Oh no. Laura intervened, saying, “Don’t say that.” “A lot of people have been complaining about the clocks changing, but it’s not my fault, by the way, but people think it is.”

Laura also noted the joyful mood of the day before, writing: “But the glorious day of sunshine yesterday then the clocks changed, which means dark evenings.”

Ed admitted, “I love the weekends when the clocks go back because it means Christmas is coming.” “Oh I’m not sure people enjoy it for that reason,” Charlotte said, surprised.

Ed clarified, “Clocks go back and we are heading into November,” “Christmas is rapidly approaching. The most exciting thing for me as a child was getting an extra hour of sleep and looking forward to Christmas when the clocks changed.

Charlotte said, unable to contain her laughter: “At this point, we’re headed in the right direction. The best thing about yesterday was that you noticed you had an extra hour and felt like it was later than it was.

When Ed and Charlotte were together again on screen, viewers back home were ecstatic, and many took to social media sites like X, then known as Twitter, to share their delight.

One spectator said, “Best two.” “Ed and Charlotte today.” said another. In the meantime, another person said: “It’s good to see Ed Balls today.”
