‘Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman’ star Jane Seymour in Kelowna for film project

Actress Jane Seymour, a film director and the head of Buzzfeed are in Kelowna for something special.

“Excited to embark on this new journey with the talented directors @richardalanreid, who played my son in ‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ and now is running Buzzfeed, and @nickjfabiano! Can’t say much yet but I’m looking forward to it,” Seymour wrote in an Instagram post while in Kelowna, Aug. 23.

Seymour may be best known for her starring role in the American western drama TV series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, which aired from 1993 to 1998.

The Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress has had a career spanning decades, from her role of Bond girl Solitaire in the James Bond film Live and Let Die in the 1970s to Wedding Crashers in 2005 and most recently The War with Grandpa and Friendsgiving in 2020, according to her IMDB profile.

 

Richard Reid, seen in the photo with Seymour, is the head of BuzzFeed Studios while Nick Fabiano is a film director who has directed various short films and TV series including a Super Bowl ad, according to his IMDB profile.

Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale was also in Kelowna and posted about the city on Instagram earlier this week. Photos to her Instagram profile show her with a film crew.
