Frank Ragnow’s body felt better after the bye week. After missing one game because of a partly torn pectoral muscle, Ragnow returned to practice on Monday. According to Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell, both Ragnow and safety Brian Branch are expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. After playing through an injury in the Week 3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Ragnow was not present for the Lions’ Week 4 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. After suffering a brain injury against the Cardinals, Branch was cleared to play against the Seahawks, but on game day, Campbell argued that the illness had nothing to do with Branch’s brain damage.

Campbell stated, “They were both out there practicing today.” “So they appear nice as of right now.” In their first practice after the bye, the Lions (3-1) staged a light workout on Monday. They are healthier than the Cowboys. Dallas (3-2) suffered a knee injury to starting backup Marshawn Kneeland and played without defensive ends Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence on Sunday night. The Lions game this week will be missed by Lawrence, who is on injured reserve, and Parsons, whose availability is uncertain due to a high ankle sprain.
