BREAKING: Good Morning Britain Star Unveils the ‘Incredible’ Quality That Makes Kate Garraway Truly One-of-a-Kind!

Laura Tobin, a star of Good Morning Britain, talked about helping Kate Garraway behind the scenes and commended her for her ability to “always look out for everyone.” After her husband Derek Draper passed away in January after a tragic struggle with long-term COVID, presenter Kate,57, made a triumphant return to the ITV program in February.

When asked if they had united around their favorite show on TV, Laura replied, “Always.” She is great. We recently bought a house and are renovating it. She keeps asking me how the house is going. And I simply wonder—how do you possibly recall the events in other people’s lives? We try to look out for her, but she’s always watching out for everyone else. She just seems to keep going. She’s still insane; 30 seconds after she arrives, her dressing room appears to have exploded, even though it was pristine when we first saw it. She is a disaster, but she is also incredibly intelligent and can recall every interview she has ever had and every person she has ever spoken to. I believe that while some may undervalue her skill and knowledge, she comes into her own when the cameras start rolling.

After filming Derek’s last year for Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story, Kate accepted her third National Television Award for Best Authored Documentary last month. The celebrity also fought back tears while talking about her family’s struggle to deal with their loss on stage. “Goodness me, I really did not anticipate this,” she exclaimed. Isn’t this one a bittersweet one?
