Juicy Haason Reddick Jets Trade Rumor Shared by Insider

The latest rumor making the rounds on social media has thickened the plot between Haason Reddick and the New York Jets. ESPN’s Rich Cimini claimed on “The Flight Deck Podcast” that he heard something from the Reddick camp that undoubtedly would stir heads. To put it this way, a little birdie told me that Reddick probably wouldn’t mind being dealt back to the Philadelphia Eagles or something like. I believe Reddick is so irritated with the Jets’ circumstances—he obviously asked for a trade in August—that he wouldn’t mind returning to Philadelphia. Heard it from a small bird once more. Acknowledge its value, Cimini stated on the program.

It Seems Like Some Eagles supporters Wouldn’t Be Open to It Reddick was traded by the Eagles to the Jets on March 29 in return for a conditional third-round pick in 2026. “If he [Reddick] hits 67.5% of playing time and at least 10 sacks,” the third-round pick will jump to a second-rounder per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. However, if those standards aren’t attained, the draft selection will remain a third-round pick. The Eagles made the decision to trade Reddick first due of financial considerations. Reddick was scheduled to earn $14.25 million in 2024 as he approached the last year of his contract. Reddick’s father, Raymond Matthew, claims that his son “outperformed” his present deal and desired a “market value” contract.
