Even without Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers managed to win both games; however, they will be hoping to have their star quarterback back on the field when the Minnesota Vikings visit town in Week 4 for a crucial divisional game.

Love continued her practice session from last week’s entire week on Wednesday. Despite having a dubious designation on the Week 3 injury report, the Packers decided to bench him for the remainder of the game. In Love’s absence, Malik Willis showed off against the Tennessee Titans to help the team win for the second straight game.

An encouraging update was given by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, who stated that it would “make sense” for Love to return this week against Minnesota.

Love gave another indication on Wednesday after rehearsing.

Jordan Love’s remarks appear to be positive for the Packers’ matchup with the Vikings in Week 4.
After practice, Love told reporters that he is getting better at moving and becoming better every day. In response to the question of whether he had an opportunity to participate in the Titans victory last week, Love stated, “I was pretty close.”

Whether deliberate or not, that seems like a hint to me.

It would make logical that Love would be able to return after seven more days of recovery if he was “pretty close” to playing against the Titans. Following Love’s MCL sprain, early reports indicated he would miss three to six weeks of work.
