Done Deal: Fulham star have miss Newcastle United clash because of …..

When his team plays Newcastle United at Craven Cottage this afternoon, Marco Silva has announced he would be missing one of his strikers. Carlos Vinicius won’t be available for Fulham’s lunchtime visit to Craven Cottage against Newcastle United. Vinicius, who was loaned to Turkish Super Lig team Galatasaray for the second half of the previous season, has not played for the Cottagers this year due to a calf injury. The 29-year-old will not add to his total against the Magpies later today, despite having scored twice under Silva last year. “There’s not really any changes from the last game,” Silva remarked in reference to the team’s most recent injury situation. Newcastle United defeated Fulham 3-0, 2-0, and 1-0 to clinch a league and cup treble last year. The team has won five straight games at Craven Cottage. Eddie Howe’s team knows a victory would put them at the top of the table at the end of the day as they travel to the capital in third place in the standings. Regarding today’s opponents, Silva spoke highly of the group Howe has put together and called his opponent a “very talented manager.” They are a very good side, according to Silva. It was a fantastic season for them when they qualified for the Champions League two years ago. They have an excellent management, of course, and they are not a team that has to sell players.
