Regarding A.J. Brown and WR depth, Sirianna stated that during practice on Friday, the WR’s hamstring became a touch tight. As such, things will be monitored. On Friday, they took certain safety measures with him, and they anticipate doing the same on Saturday. [UPDATE: During the brief media presence, Brown was not spotted on the practice field.]

Jahan Dotson stated he would be willing to take on a more significant role if requested, should Brown be unable to play on Monday night, according to Sirianni. According to the head coach, Dotson has been working extremely hard since arriving in Philadelphia. Although they still need to wait and see how things develop over the next few days, he is optimistic that all of the players, including Britain Covey and Johnny Wilson, will be prepared if needed.

A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert are the three receivers that the offensive passing game runs through, so Sirianni stated that he has always had faith in their third receiver over the years despite the fact that it’s a difficult position. He’s said it a hundred times over the years: Brown, Smith, and Goedert are the foundation of the pass game, no matter who the third receiver is.

Because he doesn’t have the same opportunities as other individuals, that guy is unfairly assessed. I’m quite pleased with Jahan [Dotson]. First-round pick, clearly, that’s what we traded for, and we’re happy with him. He runs the trip smoothly and with ease. I simply believe that because they don’t always have the same possibilities as these other guys, people in that position are unfairly condemned at times.

However, he did admit that Sirianni is sure the wide receiver can perform admirably if asked to take on a more significant role.
