The NFL media is reacting after Dak Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, just before their season opener against the Cleveland Browns. ESPN analyst and former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan praised the agreement.

“For the future, the Dallas Cowboys made the proper decision. “Dak Prescott is one of the league’s best quarterbacks,” Ryan remarked.

Ryan described Prescott as an extraordinary leader who is unfairly attacked by the media. “What I like most about it is that I believe he is the best leader in the National Football League.” Ryan stated, “He puts everything on himself to the point where he gets criticized by pundits everywhere who don’t know anything.” “He makes it easier for his teammates and everybody else.”

Prescott will lead the Cowboys’ season opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Huntington Bank Field.
