The Milwaukee Bucks are unlikely to trade either Khris Middleton or Jrue Holiday

Right now, former Milwaukee Bucks star Jrue Holiday is on the brink of winning his second career championship. The two-time All-Star has a golden opportunity to reach the pinnacle once again in his first season with the Boston Celtics. It’s by no means a walk in the park, but there’s no denying that the Celtics have put themselves in a tremendous position to go all the way this season.

Despite being with “the enemy,” Holiday still remains to be a revered former Buck for the Milwaukee faithful. The same can be said about how his former teammates feel about Jrue.

Khris Middleton hasn’t forgotten about Holiday one bit. How could he? After all, the 6-foot-4 point guard played such an integral role for the squad during his three seasons in Milwaukee. On top of that, Holiday also had a significant impact on his teammates outside the confines of the basketball court:

“I don’t just look at him as a basketball player, man, he was a true friend of mine,” Middleton said, via Jared Weiss of The Athletic. “Off the court, he was able to make everybody around here comfortable by being able to talk to him, being able to hang out, being able to throw anything on him.”

It wouldn’t be surprising if the dictionary’s definition of a a “glue guy” had the picture of Holiday. This man is not only one of the top two-way guards in the league today, but he also stands out as one of the best teammates one can ever have the privilege of playing alongside with.

Much like virtually the entire Bucks fanbase, it is clear that Middleton misses his buddy, too.
