The Philadelphia Eagles received a third-round selection and two seventh-round picks from the Washington Commanders on Thursday in exchange for receiver Jahan Dotson and a fifth-round selection.

Some people weren’t overly shocked by the decision because Dotson has been dropping down the depth chart all summer. Brian Mitchell, a former running back for the Commanders and kick return specialist who costs the BMitch & Finlay Show on 106.7 The Fan in D.C., wasn’t shocked in the slightest.

Mitchell spoke on Philadelphia’s WIP FM’s “Ike, Spike, and Fritz Show” to talk about the deal. You cannot have a weak mental state.” Football is an intense sport both intellectually and physically. “In this camp, I didn’t see him competing like I should have seen him competing,” Mitchell said, adding that players must be able to maintain their confidence even in trying situations. “I caught him a little bit moping.

About a week ago, I stated something along the lines of, “There are people out there acting like they should be given a job, but their body language is off.” He was among the individuals I was mentioning.” Connected: Article: Commanders Exchange Brandon Aiyuk Returning to Action Eagles supporters won’t be comforted by Mitchell’s harsh evaluation, and the former All-Pro didn’t stop there. “If you’re not going to compete, I don’t think you’re going to fit in Dan Quinn’s system,” Mitchell went on. He is currently in Philadelphia.

I can tell him one thing: he needs to prepare his mental toughness because they will let him know if he isn’t performing well and isn’t psychologically strong enough.” Perhaps a shift in location will benefit the former No. 16 overall choice.
