Hollywood actor Robert Redford has been sighted in New Zealand, where he is filming his latest project.
According to NZME, Redford, 78, came on a flight from San Francisco at 5 a.m. Monday with his wife and was driven away from the airport in a private car.
His most recent picture, a Disney version of Pete’s Dragon, follows an orphan who seeks sanctuary from his violent parents with the help of a pet dragon and a couple living in a lighthouse.
The filming is now taking place in Tokaroa, central North Island, but during Redford’s three-week stay in New Zealand, he will also film in Tapanui, West Otago, Wellington, and the Bay of Plenty.
Redford will be joined by Karl Urban, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Wes Bentley.
