Regarding the likelihood of obtaining one of his main transfer objectives this summer, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is reticent.

So far, Celtic’s summer transfer window has been quiet, even though the Champions League and the Scottish Premiership season are both very soon approaching.

Two goalkeepers have been added by Rodgers, and midfielder Paulo Bernardo is expected to sign a contract to remain at Celtic Park.

Adam Idah is a striker for Norwich City, and Celtic had attempted to get him in the summer before without success.

Although they are anticipated to, they have not yet returned with a better offer for Idah, who was chastised by Norwich for showing up late for their Austrian training camp.

However, Rodgers won’t admit to having any interest in moving Idah back north of the border.

“We’ll see what happens in the coming weeks, but Adam is a Norwich player and I said he did fantastic with us last season,” Rodgers remarked to Sky Sports.

Idah made a significant contribution during his second half of the previous campaign while on loan at Celtic, but Norwich is not eager to let him go this summer.
