Andy Murray, a multiple Olympian with two gold medals in his trophy cabinet, stated that he traveled to Paris to begin a new tournament in which he will compete in both singles and doubles. Murray will compete in the doubles event alongside compatriot Dan Evans, who is also a member of the Great Britain team. Andy Murray posted the following message upon his arrival in Paris: “Arrived in Paris for my last ever tennis match Olympics. Andy Murray won gold medals in singles at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. However, he did not compete at Tokyo 2020. This will be Andy Murray’s fifth and last Olympic Games appearance.
