Why the Red Sox Will Cover the Spread and Win
Houck has shoved this season, and he earned a well-deserved All-Star spot as a result. He is pitching incredibly well, and he has a very favorable matchup in this game. The Rockies aren’t the finest offensive squad. They have the greatest whiff %, the second-highest chase percentage, the second-lowest chase contact percentage, and the eighth-lowest zone contact percentage. Houck should be able to induce a lot of swings and misses in this game, which will propel the Red Sox to victory.
The Red Sox should be able to cause a little damage. They have good numbers in July, and their slugging is also above average. The Rockies’ pitching isn’t great, and the ball will fly at Coors Field.
