As the SEC media days progressed, analysts and media members talked about the forthcoming season, from kickoff until the College Football Playoff.

As every second of collegiate football was scrutinized and critiqued, the August 31 headliner weekend was a hot issue.

The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Clemson Tigers on August 31 at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

At media days, Peter Burns and Chris Doering began day two with a program titled ‘Start, Bench, or Cut.’

Doering almost immediately seized the chance to cancel the Bulldogs’ game versus the Tigers. Burns stated that he was watching the match on his phone rather than the big screen.

As the show progressed, Doering made another observation regarding the game:

“I think Georgia beats the hell out of Clemson in that game,” Doering told the crowd. “I don’t think they have the offense to be able to keep up with Georgia.”

While the rest of the on-air talent cautioned Doering against making premature predictions, his feelings on Dabo Swinney’s group were out in the open.
Swinney has steadfastly refused to use the NIL arrangements that are sweeping the country. Meanwhile, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are going all out to claim the financial perks.

“But Clemson beating Georgia to start the season would be an unbelievable, just complete lever pull for the rest of the college football season,” Mr. Burns added.

Doering interjected, stating, “This is not going to happen. “Not going to happen.”
