2024 California Classic - Miami Heat v Los Angeles Lakers

Lil Wayne Makes A Bold Projection About Bronny James.

Bronny James being picked by the Los Angeles Lakers and teaming up with his father, LeBron James, has been the story of the summer during the NBA offseason, and rightfully so, as this is something fans have never seen before and will most likely never see again.

The buzz has reached the point where rappers are joining in, with Lil Wayne making a strong comment about Bronny on Undisputed.

Skip Bayless asked Wayne if he could imagine Bronny ever making an All-Star game, to which Wayne said “definitely” and applauded Bronny for not showing fear and being willing to be aggressive.

Wayne was impressed with Bronny’s performance in Summer League thus far, despite the fact that he has only averaged 3.5 points per game in his first two games.

Paul Pierce must have been biting his tongue as hard as he could while listening to this take, as this could go down in history as the point at which the Bronny hype began to tip the scales.

As the 55th overall pick and coming off a rookie year at USC where he averaged only 4.8 points per game, it’s ridiculous to put this much emphasis on Bronny, regardless of his surname.

If he plays at all, he’ll be eased into the rotation, but new head coach JJ Redick is unlikely to play him for a long time, and there’s no reason why he should, given that he’s a rookie second-round choice who could benefit from some behind-the-scenes experience.
