Sure, Tom Brady has seven Super Bowl wins and three MVP honors, but when it comes to beach football in 2024, the NFL icon is 0-1 after losing to CJ Stroud’s team on Thursday at billionaire Michael Rubin’s July 4th party in the Hamptons.
Olivia Dunne, Jake Paul, Brady’s ex-teammate Rob Gronkowski, Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, Miami Dolphins receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and rappers Travis Scott and Quavo also attended the star-studded event.
But before the guests could join the evening festivities in all-white apparel, Brady and Stroud formed teams and headed to the beach, where the reigning NFL Rookie of the Year won, according to several accounts.
Rubin even tweeted video of Hamlin intercepting Brady and returning it for an apparent score.
It wasn’t all terrible for Brady, who was shown in one video making excellent passes to Scott and Parsons.
Scott was making a rare appearance after being detained last Thursday in Miami Beach for misdemeanor trespassing and public intoxication.
This year’s event invitations arrived in the form of framed artwork, carried by white tuxedoed couriers. Guests also received customized Nike/Travis Scott shoes.
Paul was photographed arriving at the Hamptons event and flashing two fists to the cameras as he drove in.
Meanwhile, Patriots owner Robert Kraft was seen conversing with a large group of people while enjoying beverages on one of Rubin’s magnificent mansion’s decks.
