It’s another big win and a significant boost to Alabama’s burgeoning recruiting class.

Dijon Lee has committed to Alabama over Georgia, Washington, USC, Texas A&M, and Texas. The four-star cornerback made the announcement LIVE on the 247Sports YouTube Channel on Friday afternoon.

“I chose Alabama because I had positive relationships with all of the coaches and players. “When I got there, I connected right away, and it just felt like home,” he told 247Sports during the live announcement.
“All I can say is that it’s just different out there,” he told 247Sports. “Everything about this place is different from wherever else I’ve been. The tradition and number of National Championships they have is incredible, and they send more players to the NFL than anyone else.”

The Mission Viejo (Calif.) prospect paid official visits to all five of those institutions, while the Crimson Tide secured the final trip before the Dead Period.

The multi-day visit to Tuscaloosa from June 21 to 23 was the third since Kalen DeBoer was hired head coach in January.
Lee, regarded as the country’s No. 4 cornerback, had past relationships with DeBoer and general manager Courtney Morgan during his Washington recruiting. The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder’s recruitment was led by Maurice Linguist.

Coach Mo is fantastic,” he has commented. “It’s a great group of guys who understand how to win and how to build a winning culture.”

Lee is the tenth recruit to commit to Alabama following an official visit this month, joining Keelon Russell, Chuck McDonald, Michael Carroll, Mal Waldrep, Jackson Lloyd, Alex Asparuhov, London Simmons, Micah DeBose, and Dawson Merritt. Alabama’s 2025 class is ranked second in the country, with 20 commits, according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

According to the Top247 Player Rankings, he is the No. 40 player and second-best prospect in California. It was a good junior season, with 55 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, and one sack. Lee led the Diablos to the CIF championship game as a sophomore, recording 32 tackles, two tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and two interceptions. The elite athlete also participates in track.

Scouting Report by Greg Biggins.

“Lee is one of the longest corners in the country, standing 6-4 and weighing 190 pounds. We could see him shift to safety in college, but most colleges prefer him at cornerback, which is also his desired position. Can smother an opposition receiver at the line of scrimmage and is excellent in press coverage. Has good feet and directional change for a tall corner, and is rarely beaten over the top. Can get in and out of breaks and catch a lot of balls. Is physical in run support and is not hesitant to go downhill and lay a hard hit on a running back. Is also a smart, intelligent player who understands the game and has the positional ability to make an impact at several secondary positions, adding to his value.”
